Lol I hear you! It does feel a bit gimmicky. Post-Charli XCX and brat, I feel like there’s even more pressure to make an album release a weeks-long event. Charli’s was special, although I feel like it’s now wearing out its very long welcome.
pretty sure halsey has spoken about being a white passing biracial person in the past. will def be interesting to see their approach, if any, to cosplaying black artists in this campaign.
